What Makes a Intercede Home Healthcare Caregiver

Choosing caregivers is a crucial responsibility for the agency, and our approach mirrors the agency's dedication to its fundamental principles and care standards. The caregiver selection strategy commences by identifying individuals who meet essential professional criteria. We specifically seek experienced clinical staff, with the intention of providing additional education and training to enhance their capabilities.

• Candidates eligible for an interview must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or  Nursing Student with relevant clinical experience.

  • Minimum of 1  years of documented experience in Home Care Agency, Long Term Care facility, or Memory Care Unit.

  • Following the fulfillment of the initial criteria, we assess whether caregiving is a genuine passion or merely a job for the candidate.

Rigorous Background Check

Successful candidates undergo a thorough vetting program characterized by a comprehensive examination. This process entails scrutiny through Global, Federal, and Local Criminal Databases, encompassing National, State, and County Criminal Record Checks.  Social Security Number Fraud Check, checks against the State of Pennsylvania Employee Misconduct Registry for caregivers and Nurse Aide Registry, Sex and Violent Offenders Record. Other criteria include assessments of Medical Suitability that is fitting for everyone.
